SUPPORT | COMPASSION | ACTION

Recent years have proven to be harsh when it comes to mental health, and the number of suicides within our County tells the story. 

 Though many have touted efforts to increase mental health awareness, and efforts to remove the stigma surrounding mental health issues, vocal outreach from elected officials has lacked.  

As Judge/Executive, I will focus on efforts to increase Vocal Outreach.  

Closed-door meetings, and press releases won't be acceptable under my administration.

Make no mistake; Silence is Inaction.

Judge/Executive's Committee on Mental Health & Humanity

 I will launch this committee, focusing on community mental health outreach.

The Committee will feature members from all age groups, ethnicities, religions, and statuses.  

All meetings will be open to the public, and I will attend each one.

Our main goal will be to Listen.

Out of the comment periods, I hope to gather information which can be used to make actual differences in the lives of citizens.

Meetings will take place in January, March, May, July, September, and November of each year.

We must pull back the curtain surrounding Mental Health and Suicidal Ideation.

All lives are worth saving.
